Last few days

The weather has been crazy this year. From the deepest days in the backcountry, to the shallowest days, in a matter of days…

Saturday morning was 100cm’s deep, and by the afternoon the snow had already warmed up and settled quite a bit. Sunday rained at the highest elevations. By the time the sun came back on Monday and Tuesday, the snow had become less than a foot deep, and crusty!

We were still able to build a jump and take some good snowboarding photos, so all was not lost. Also the strange weather makes for some nice patterns in the snow!
